Triumph International | 1961

Lingerie in the 1960s. In 1886 merchant Michael Braun and corset maker Johann Gottfried Spiesshofer began making corsets in a small farm building in Heubach, Württemberg, in southern Germany.
That was the start of Spiesshofer & Braun, which in 1902 registered the Triumph brand and expanded into several countries.
Today Triumph is still a family business, employing tens of thousands of people worldwide and setting trends in lingerie, like the pieces in this 1961 ad from the German magazine Constanze.
