Kombi | 1962
In this 1962 ad, the much-loved Kombi, as the VW Type 2 is known in Brazil, highlighted its interior space and 810 kg load capacity, and was billed as Brazil’s largest car, with room for nine people and their luggage.
Assembled in Brazil from 1953 and fully made there from 1957, the Kombi went out of production in 2013, after 63 years.
