Ki-Suco | 1962

Who didn’t drink Ki-Suco?
This popular product was born in the United States in 1927, invented by Edwin Perkins and his wife Kitty. They sold bottled juice concentrates and wanted something easier and cheaper to ship, avoiding breakage and high freight costs.
They succeeded: they created powdered drink mix under the name Kool-Aid, which quickly spread across the United States and then the Americas.
In Brazil it launched in 1961 as Q-Suco, and only in the late 1960s became Ki-Suco, the name still used today.
