Schwarzkopf | 1963

Did you know the world’s first liquid shampoo was invented by Hans Schwarzkopf in 1927? Schwarzkopf was founded in Berlin in 1898 by Hans Schwarzkopf, a chemist and pharmacist who in 1903 brought the first powdered shampoo to market. In 1927 he innovated again with the first liquid shampoo.
After 120 years, Schwarzkopf is still a reference in its field and sells its products in more than 120 countries.
This ad from the German magazine Praline (1963) sold Taft hairspray with the headline: “With Taft, your hair stays styled much longer.”
