Rexona | 1958

In 1908, in Australia, Alice Sheffer, wife of S. F. Sheffer, developed a range of personal-care products that became Rexona, sold by her husband’s Sheldon Drug Company.
In the 1930s the brand passed to Unilever, which in the 1960s launched its best-known product, the antiperspirant. In the UK it is called Sure; in the United States, Degree.
In this ad Rexona is still a deodorant soap, promising freshness “from head to toe” all day long.
It ran in 1958 in the German magazine Quick.
