Kolynos | 1950
Created in 1908 in the United States by dentist Neal Jenkins, Kolynos went on sale in Brazil in 1917 with the slogan “cleans your teeth and your brush too”.
Colgate-Palmolive bought the brand in 1995 and, in Brazil, replaced it with Sorriso.
Many say that years after leaving the shelves, Kolynos was still one of the toothpaste brands Brazilians remembered best.
This ad, full of scientific promises, ran in the Brazilian magazine O Cruzeiro in 1950.
