The Viagra of the 1920s. This 1922 ad from the Spanish magazine Blanco y Negro shows that some male worries are centuries old, impotence among them.
The text leaves no doubt: “Men, weakness is cured at once with the VIRILITY mechanical device, patented in all civilised countries. To convince yourself, ask for the 20-page booklet by Dr Schiller C. Geiger.”
One wonders what “civilised countries” meant, and what on earth filled those 20 pages.
