O Vinte e Dois, a well-known tailor and shirtmaker in old Belém, in northern Brazil, was one of the advertisers in the yearbook celebrating the city’s tercentenary, published in 1915.
In the belle-époque Belém of the rubber boom, being dressed by a good tailor was a mark of status.
