Vintage ad for Mococa, Anos 70

A curious ad for Mococa powdered milk, presented as a “cure-all” for both losing and gaining weight. The ad, from the 1970s, ran in the Brazilian women’s magazine Claudia.

Mococa was born in 1919 in the town of the same name, in the state of São Paulo, when Izabel Barretto began making butter. According to the company, it was the first Brazilian maker of powdered milk.

Since 2003, Mococa has belonged to the Kremon group.
