Texaco was founded in April 1902 in Texas and began operating in Brazil in 1915.
This ad ran in Seleções in the middle of the Second World War: the text explains that most of the company’s research was devoted to "winning the war" and promises better fuels afterwards. The "United today, united forever" seal recalls the alliance between Brazil and the United States.
