A woman in a wide-brimmed hat, painted almost like a canvas and signed by Baldrich: many 1920s ads were true works of illustration, a craft that gradually disappeared from advertising.

“Señora: Vd. no tendrá completo su tocador sin los grandes perfumes Calber” (Madam, your dressing table will not be complete without the great Calber perfumes), read the copy for Perfumería Higiénica Calber, of San Sebastián, in the magazine Blanco y Negro in 1922.
