Heno de Pravia | 1922

“¡No quiero lavarme si no hay jabón Heno de Pravia!” (I won’t wash unless there’s Heno de Pravia soap!). A sulking little boy is the star of this ad, published in the Spanish magazine Blanco y Negro in 1922.
The soap, made by Perfumería Gal of Madrid, cost 1.50 pesetas at the time. Its name (Pravia hay) refers to a village in Asturias, and Heno de Pravia is still sold today.
